Traveling with e-cigaretes and vape devices is perfectly fine as the “system” knows what they are, but FAA requests that all battery products must be kept in carry on luggage.
Put them though security the same you put your cell phone, and remember to keep them separate, and keep the juices and used tanks (must be emptied before going inside airplane) in ziplock bags.
Airlines, Airport and Transport
By law, any transport contractor can establish their own regulations applicable to their own vehicles or air-planes. Some airlines prohibit e-cigarette use, and some permit it and sell their own products in-flight.
Most airports allow usage of vapor products, but do look for signs specifically restricting vaping. These airports typically have designated areas for vaping.
Do not fly with full tanks as the change in air pressure will cause leaks. Be sure to pack e-juice and used clearomziers in a ziplock bag.
Vaping inside an airline is an absolute no-no, unless the airline speifically allows their usage. You can cause a hoax or create trouble for flight attendants and pilots, as the sensitive alarm systems within airplanes may confuse the heavy vapor for smoke.
And lastly, dont forget the charger!
